Principal^® has a supplier inclusion program that focuses on the procurement of goods and services from a variety of businesses to ensure we can meet the needs of our customers. Our approach supports the growth and development of the communities we serve and delivers value to our business by tapping the widest possible selection of highly qualified suppliers, innovative solutions, and creative thinking.

Requirements

To be included in the Principal Supplier Inclusion program, your company must be 51% owned, controlled, and operated by an individual that is a member of one of the following categories:

African-Americans
Hispanic Americans
Asian or Pacific Island Americans
Native Americans/Alaskan Natives
Asian-Indian Americans
Women
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender Individuals
Veterans
Disability-Owned Business

Must be certified by one or more of the following organizations:
- National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
- Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
- National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)
- US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC)
- Disability:IN
- National Veteran Owned Business Association (NaVOBA)
- Department of Veterans Affairs
  - Validation is accepted for Veteran businesses only
- Other federal, state or local government agencies
Must be located within the United States, its territories or possessions.

Note: All suppliers are subject to the same requirements.
